The 115th Orsett Show is pleased to announce our new presidents, Cynthia and Robert Folkard.
Cynthia and Robert Folkard were both born in East Tilbury Village, where Rob decided to start his farm-working journey. Rob began to work on the Osborne Farm in the 1950s and later worked for Lou Osborne. He started working for Ray Osbourne, who was a stalwart of the Orsett show for many years.
Since the 1950s, Rob has been heavily involved in the Orsett Show, initially focusing on the agriculture side, and we both began diversifying in different ways over the years. We provide a mixture of historical traditions and 21st-century culture while maintaining the core heritage of the Orsett Show.
The Orsett Show will always have a special place in our hearts, and we appreciate all the hours of planning and dedication it takes to make sure everything runs smoothly. We are delighted to offer our visitors a variety of horticulture, agriculture, hobbies, handicrafts, and schools. A great day to spend with your friends and family.
